New versions or variants of existing flows are not trivial to handle. There might be new or changed roles additional steps or branches. This all can happen, while requests of the same type are open in the system. Due to the data flow architecture of MDM Enterprise 3.0 these problems can be easily solved. Runing flows stay untouched since they hold all required information to complete them.
New flows, based on new versions can already start without any limitations.
